Thank you to EVERYONE who helped make our mad science event a success by donating and/or volunteering!!!!Our Mad Science themed Halloween party was a HUGE hit! EVERYONE LOVED it, the party ran WITHOUT A HITCH, and students were engaged in hands-on science that covered TONS of science standards....all while having a blast & getting a little messy in the process. {{ FUN }} BAT BONE DUST & SPIDER VENOM EXPERIMENTThis super simple experiment demonstrates chemical reactions using only 3 ingredients! The kids loved the "volcano" reaction and couldn't get enough! Bouncing Rat Droppings ExperimentUsing raisins or chocolate sprinkles students observed as Alka-Seltzer & carbonated club soda made these "rat droppings" bounce & dance about! Mad Scientist GogglesProtecting our CREEPY Mad Scientist eyeballs is a MUST! Students had fun transforming regular goggles into MAD SCIENTIST goggles!! See a few of our crazy creations below. Ghoulish Games & Gross SnacksFrom spider ring relay race & spider flinging, to mad scientist tossing games & spooky dance brain breaks, students enjoyed their game rotations during the party. Being a mad scientist really works up an appetite, and our students feasted on creepy treats galore (including donut eyeballs and Franken-fingers with oozing puss....ewwwww!
