Volunteer Drivers needed! In 4th grade, we aim to build independence within our students, so parent volunteers are invited to volunteer for special events such as class parties, field trips, school-wide celebrations, PTO events, and other needs as they arise. Opportunities for classroom project help may come up as the year progresses.
Currently, Mrs. Petlak needs volunteers for SEVERAL at-home projects or assistance with tasks when students are out of the room. SIGN UP by clicking HERE to volunteer your time and effort. THANK YOU! |

PartiesWe will have 2 parties this year: Halloween & Valentine's Day. Mrs. Petlak loves planning our class parties to include educational activities & encourages parental participation, when possible. Our PTO room parents will send requests, should we need volunteers. Thank you for making our celebrations super special!

SnacksPlease send ONLY healthy, fruit or fresh veggies (NOT packed in juice or syrup), in order to adhere to our district’s health food policy. Please visit the district website for more information to read the policy in the posted parent handbook.
In the warm months, it is essential to stay hydrated! Please send a water bottles (no juice or sport drinks) . Sport-tops are best and help to avoid spills! Please also send a coaster to class. |
BirthdaysParents are asked not to send anything edible to celebrate their child’s birthday. We are faced with many children within our schools that are highly allergic to food ingredients. We are sensitive to their health issues & are also concerned with the amount of interruptions to the instructional day that the distribution & consumption of treats may bring.
