- NOAM WILL TAKE ATTENDANCE AND EMAIL IT TO ME. I WILL SUBMIT IT ONLINE. (Backup: Asher or the paper copy of attendance on the desk)

- Practice SpellingCity until 9:10 a.m.
- Listen for announcements & pledge of allegiance.
- Have students clean up and come to front, center floor area at 9:10 a.m.

- PLEASE ANNOUNCE that NO ONE will be going into the reading tent (camper) nor my office today.
- Have students open their Chromebooks to check that these plans are in their email inbox and on our website.
- Go over the schedule with them as they follow along.

- ALO ELA students leave @ 9:20 to go to their specialist.
- Ask for 2 volunteers to get up and present their HURRICANE/FLOODING DISASTER POSTERS. They will stand up in class and read them aloud. You could run as late as 9:50 on this, if needed.
- MUST DO: Spelling contract practice and read 1-2 chapters in student immigration novels
- MUST DO #1: Before making choices, students must complete ONE of their spelling contract menu choices at their desks. This DOES NOT include SpellingCity, and the BOUNCING ball activity for spelling is not allowed today.
- MUST DO #2: Read 1-2 more chapters in their self-selected immigration chapter books.
- After students finish the spelling contract practice, they may move onto other LITERACY CHOICES:
- Read to self (self-selected novels)
- Read to someone (self-selected novels)
- Respond to reading (the have menu for this)
- More spelling/word work practice

- ALO students return and join in activities
- Encourage students to make a NEW CHOICE if they have been in the room the whole time.
- Students just returning from ALO should read the choices above, make a practice choice, and get started on independent center activity.
- Ask for 2-3 volunteers to get up and present their HURRICANE/FLOODING DISASTER POSTERS. They will stand up in class and read them aloud.

- Students log onto ALEKS and practice their “pie” (they know what this means) until 1:00 p.m.
- Have students return to front, center floor at 1:00 for group instructions.
- Ask Cassidy & Sydney to put out all math centers.

- CHOICES: Students know what the math practice choices are, and they should be laid out by Cassidy and Sydney by this point. Once finished practicing in groups, they may automatically transition into math center choices.

Take all belongings to PE to go home.
2:45-3:15> MUSIC
- Take all belongings to MUSIC to go home.
- Music teacher will dismiss them for the day.
