Students had a BLAST on what I always call "the BEST field trip ever!" last week at UL in Northbrook. This field trip fits in PERFECTLY with our STEM focus, demonstrates the scientific and engineering processes in real life/career application, and also teaches students about safety of household items. Through hands-on activities and engaging discussion, students enter the world of product safety and quality testing. The icing on the cake is getting to stop in the UL museum before boarding the bus back to school! |
